Despite there being nearly 200 hectares in the appellation, Irancy is one of the least well known areas of Burgundy, possibly because it is in a region dominated by, and renowned for, its white wine. The Watson family added Irancy to their portfolio in 2018 and this first vintage was made and managed for them by the Dampts; we are now on to the 2021 which is under their own label.
