We have been following the Beauchêne wines for nearly 20 years now and it is hard to say anything new without sounding gushing or insincere – but this is yet another stunning success from the team there.

Grenache-rich, with Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault in the blend; entirely destemmed and fermented in tank, no oak. Limpid red with a darker heart, with spiced dark cherry fruit on the nose, some thyme and garrigue notes and luscious (not lush) black fruits – this is oh so appealing already! On the palate, tarry dark fruit, with bags of fruit and a lovely hint of spice and herbs, mineral with supple tannins going to a long, liquorice-infused finish. This packs a real punch and offers such great value. Drink 2025 - 2029
