Domaine Font du Vent, formerly known as Domaine Font de Michelle, has been run by cousins Bertrand and Guillaume Gonnet for the past twenty years. In 2002 they bought a 20 hectare estate to the south of Châteauneuf du Pape in order to produce a wider range of wines, including Les Promesses Blanc, a blend of Viognier, Clairette, Grenache Gris and Grenache Blanc.

A blend of Viognier, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris, fermented and aged without any oak influence. Pale gold with a lovely warm nose of peachy white stone fruit, floral with a hint of marzipan, leading to a palate of fresh, bright, white stone fruit, juicy and pure, with notes of white flowers and a lightly spiced twist at the end. Nothing clever, just supremely tasty and superb value. Drink 2025 - 2026
