The imposing Château de Lamarque dates back nearly a thousand years and can trace its ownership right through the same family to its construction. Since the 1980s Pierre-Gilles and Marie-Hélène Gromand d’Evry have been in charge and have produced wines of ever higher quality.

Incredibly deep in colour with a lovely nose of perfumed, newly crushed briary black fruits, spiced, leading to a rich, dense, deeply fruited palate, with gorgeously spiced black fruit and a very distant grilled note, the tannins completely masked by the fruit, going to a long, rich, intense finish with a grilled, mocha note.
