Promoted in 2022 to Grand Cru Classé, Château Tour Baladoz remains one of the best value wines in our cellar. The vines are planted both on the famous limestone plateau and also in a beautiful green bowl below the château, filled entirely with vines, on the eastern edge of St Emilion towards. Neighbouring Château Le Tertre Roteboeuf, this superb location gives the vines the benefit of two different soils: limestone for freshness and clay for power.

Dense purple black with a nose of earthy black fruit, freshly crushed, with a creamy, toasty note from oak ageing. The palate is filled with black-skinned fruit, ripe, with a hint of mulberry, spiced and tactile with hints of purple fruits and a leafy freshness from the limestone soils, going to a long, grilled, lush, smoky finish.
