Deep and dense right to the rim with a nose of intense black fruit, a hint of almonds, layered and super-ripe, just avoiding overripeness, going to a racy, morello-infused palate with again a note of almond kernel, very supple tannins behind, juicily rich and intense, going to a long, persistent, even evolving finish.
