Deep in colour with a nose of tight dense red and black fruit, slightly reduced at this tasting but with lots of freshness on swirling, plummy and rich, intense with a distant vanilla note behind, leading to a toasty, grilled black fruit palate, some iodine, rich and layered, powerful and focussed, leading to an intense, taut finish – atypical for the vintage! Drink 2027 - 2035
