65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc in 2020, this is deep red to the rim with a nose of black cherries and dark fruits laced with cacao and a distant floral hint – rose – leading to fine, rich yet elegant palate of red and black fruits with a supple tannic structure behind, sweet and refined and, as ever with Canon’s wines, a powerful yet refined finish.
