On the western edge of Pomerol, close to Château Plince, Bourgneuf’s soils are more dominated by clay with a small amount of gravel, giving them some of the warmest soils in the appellation.

On the palate, delicious red and black fruit, with more structure behind from the supple ripe tannins, so tasty, savoury and saline, structured and really fine, going to a long, rich and evolving finish.
