As you would expect from a négociant like Jean-Pierre Moueix, they view their generic Bordeaux – and indeed their St Emilion, Médoc and Pomerol – as their shop window, something to lure you in deeper, so they have to be more than just good. Made with surplus lots from their top properties, this always has a strong Merlot base and is always excellent value for money.
