Stéphane Ogier continues to innovate and excite with his wines. He took over the reins of his family domaine some 20 years ago and whilst they previously sold fruit to the top négociants (including Guigal and Chapoutier), Stéphane now uses everything he grows for his own cuvées. Having taken over the former Domaine de la Plaisir in Cairanne, he now owns more than 50 hectares of vines between the Southern and Northern Rhône; his Temps est Venu is fermented in the South and brought up to Ampuis in May to be blended and bottled in the summer.
