Château Sainte Croix's first five hectares of vines were planted in 1924; fourth generation Stéphane Pélépol now manages more than 50 hectares, spread across the Var region, focusing on rosé as well as red wines.

Again pale partridge eye pink with a nose of creamy red fruits, light spice and a distant herbal touch, less immediate than the Var but definitely classier with fresh red fruits on the palate, creamed redcurrants, some green leaf notes and again a lovely fresh tang with a beautifully sustained finish. A cut above.
