Deep red black in colour, with a nose of fresh red berries, redcurrant, some creamy tarry notes and a light spice. Vibrant very sweet and fresh red fruits on the palate. Fresh and elegant, with a lovely long, strawberry infused, leafy finish. A really pretty wine. Drink 2026 - 2035+

Château Chantalouette is the second wine from Château de Sales, which is found in the north-west of the Pomerol appellation. Except for three hectares that were lost during the French Revolution, the property limits are the same as they were in 1578, and it is still owned and run by the same family, four generations on.
