Haut Roc Blanquant, Grand Cru St Emilion 2016

Red | France | Bordeaux | 14.5% | Full-bodied red

The name comes from the vineyard – a very rocky patch of limestone at the top of the slope and it is refined, rich and intense, with so much going on both on the nose and palate. Drinking beautifully now, this still has time ahead of it.

Edouard Moueix is careful to note that this is not the second wine of Bélair Monange, merely a second wine. Annonce de Bélair-Monange is structured and destined for a longer life whilst Haut Roc Blanquant is crafted for earlier drinking.
