200 Cepas comes from a three hectare vineyard of 50 year old, ungrafted vines of Cencibel,
an old clone of Tempranillo, which has smaller, more concentrated berries and takes longer to
ripen, giving a greater depth of flavour and silky tannins. Inky black, dense and spiced, 30% is aged in new French oak for between 14 and 16 months which really complements the fruit; this is broad, layered, rich and, frankly, outstanding.
