On the nose perfumed black fruits, mulberry, black cherry, sloe, damson, with some distant grilled notes behind and on the palate, all of the above and more, with big toasty black fruit underscored by firm, ripe tannins, some grip yet fresh, toasty and supple with a lovely fruited finish.

Château Plince is found just outside the village of Catusseau in Pomerol, and has been owned by the Moreau family for over four generations. The vineyard counts Châteaux Nenin and La Pointe as its neighbours, and is planted on dark sand with an iron-rich subsoil, lending both power and suppleness to the wines.
